It was worth a shot, he thought. He blinked at before giving her a toothy smile, showing off the set of fangs that grew in his mouth.

“I’m a vampire,” V.K. proudly announced.

“A vampire? Well perhaps i could find you something else to eat instead of my horse?” Arwen suggested.

” Good luck trying to find anything with a pulse around these part,” he grumbled, crossing his arm then realizing that he was being rude, ” I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to sass you, I just haven’t eaten in a while. “

Arwen chuckled, “No need to apologize, well, how about small creatures?” She tilted her head.

“That would do for a little bit, ” he nodded and smiled at her.

“Well since you are offering aid, I was wondering if you could help me?”

“Of course, how may I assist you?” Arwen said as she smiled at him.

“My name is V.K., ” he announced, ” who are you?” he eyed her curiously.

“I am Arwen Undomiel of Rivendell” Arwen said while pulling Asfaloth’s head back.

“Are you traveling?” he asked eying her curiously, ” you don’t see too many elves around these part.” he stated, careful to not reveal his fangs just yet.

“Yes I am, sight seeing and also aiding anyone who is in need of my assistance” Arwen said.

His stomach growled a bit as he watched them. He would never be stupid enough to try and attack an elf, but her horse sure looked delicious. All of that blood pumping into those muscles, he can practically heart it’s heart beating next to him. His fangs grew longer as he grasp onto the tree branch, after starving for so long, he wasn’t sure if he could control himself any longer.

Arwen sensed something and turned around. “Hello?” She said holding onto her sword. Her other hand holding Asfaloth’s reigns.

damn, he cursed. That didn’t take long at all. He debated on whether he should continue to hide or not, but suppose she would find him sooner or later.

V.K. slowly floated down from the tree and emerged from the shadows, showing himself to the maiden.

V.K. had his hood pulled up high over his head as he wandered the streets. He was glad that he seemed normal enough to blend in with the crowd, as long as he walked that is. He was hungry and it has been weeks since he had last fed on any kind of blood for that matter. He had been extra careful, but soon the pressure of his vampire instinct will crack, and his need to feed will outweigh his sanity. Sighing, he dragged his feet and continued on and out of the city and into the woods, hoping to find maybe an animal of some sort. He was hoping to find a rabbit at best, but never would he imagined to run into an Elf.

Arwen rode on Asfaloth into the woods. She wanted to go for a night stroll, her gaze looking around as she stroked her horse’s mane. She wondered what would be out there at this time.

Moving her horse onward she stopped by a small cave. Looking inside she gazed at the wonders as this was no ordinary cave, it was a cave of crystals. She looked at them and saw her reflection as she smiled.

V.K. hid in the trees while observing the elf maiden. She was beautiful like most of the elven race, but there was a gentleness to her that he can sense. Even so, he was cautious and stay behind the shadows, wonder how long it’ll take her to notice that he’s there.
